The State Ruler Event is one of the most intense and strategic competitions in Last Z: Survival Shooter, where multiple states go head-to-head in a structured elimination format to crown the ultimate champion. It’s not just about brute force — it’s about timing, coordination, and maximizing every opportunity to score points during the preparation and battle phases.
Whether you’re aiming to become the Invader or defending your home turf, understanding how matchmaking works, how to earn points efficiently, and what’s at stake can give your server the edge it needs. From Capital Clash mechanics to reward breakdowns and scoring tactics, this guide covers everything you need to know to lead your state to victory.
Let’s dive into the full structure, rules, and pro tips that can help your server become the next State Ruler!
The Cross-State Capital Clash is a 1v1 competition between States, where the winner is determined by capturing the opponent’s Capital. 4-8 States are matched into a group for a 2-3 week battle until a champion State is crowned!
Becoming the champion is no easy feat- it takes the president’s leadership to unite all the state forces!
States within a group are matched randomly, and the winning State advances to the next round, facing other winners until a champion is crowned.
Winners are matched with winners, and losers are matched with losers. Victory is achieved by capturing the enemy State’s Capital.
Sunday to Friday: States compete for points by winning in various events to increase their state score.
Invaders and Defenders: At the end of Friday Apocalypse Time, the side with the higher state score becomes the invader, and the lower-scoring side becomes the defender.
Starting Saturday, the invader can teleport to the defender’s state to attack their capital and contest ownership. The rules for cross-state capital contests follow the same format: during the contest period, the state that reaches 100% progress successfully occupies the capital. If no state succeeds in capturing the capital by the end of the contest period, the capital belongs to the state with the highest occupation progress.
If the invader wins, 2 new official positions will be granted. Once the capital is captured, many diamond mines will spawn within its range, and only the winning side can gather them. For survivors within the same state, unity and cooperation are essential!
🔥 State Ruler Event: How the Matchmaking Works
The State Ruler event is one of the most exciting parts of the game — a true test of teamwork, power, and strategy across servers. Understanding how matchmaking works is key to preparing for victory.
During the Matching Period, 4 servers are grouped to compete in a two-round elimination format. These matches will decide which server walks away as the State Ruler champion and which falls short.
All four servers face off in two randomly assigned matches.
This means every battle matters — winning Round 1 puts you one step away from the crown.
Round 2 is where final placements are locked in:
So, no team is eliminated early — all four servers get two matches, and every match directly influences their final position.
Both rounds are crucial, whether you’re aiming for the crown or defending your pride. Rally with your alliances, sharpen your tactics, and prepare for war — your server’s glory is on the line.
The Preparation Phase in Last Z: Survival Shooter decides who will gain the upper hand in the State Ruler by becoming the Invader. Points are earned through individual, alliance, and state efforts. The server with the highest total score gets to invade the opponent’s territory.
Earn individual points in the following ways:
Your alliance earns points by:
Let’s compare two states:
Category | Server A (Winning) | Server B (Losing) |
---|---|---|
Rank 1 in Alliance Duel (Daily) | 12,000 | 6,000 |
Full Preparedness Champion | 500 | 500 |
Arena Champion | 40,000 | 20,000 |
Enemy Truck Plunder Success | 100 | 300 |
Alliance Duel Victory | 30,000 | 0 |
State Top 200 Damage Contribution | 90,000 | 90,000 |
Total Points | 172,600 | 116,800 |
Since Server A has the highest total score (86,600 points), it becomes the Invader.
To increase your state’s chances of becoming the Invader:
🔥 The Preparation Phase is more than just warm-up—it’s the foundation for domination.
In Dark War Survival’s state vs. state events, rewards come in two major forms — Server Rewards and Personal Rewards. Understanding how they work and how to earn points efficiently is key to maximizing your gains. This guide breaks it down for both defenders and invaders.
To unlock all 9 reward chests, focus on these point-earning actions:
Whether you’re a solo fighter or part of a massive alliance, focusing your efforts in the right places will help you unlock all 9 chests and dominate the leaderboards. Prioritize efficiency — don’t waste energy on low-yield tasks when smarter plays bring better rewards.
Stay sharp, fight smart, and claim every chest!
